I've been a Middle School educator for the last 10 years. My childhood dream was to become a professional soccer player, not a teacher. However, my experiences on the Rutgers Women's Soccer team, alongside the coaches and teammates who shaped me, ultimately led me to discover my passion for education. I've always admired individuals who embody qualities like kindness, dedication, and the ability to inspire others—qualities I believe are essential in great educators. Over the years, I've often reflected on the words of these inspiring individuals, which continue to resonate with me:

"You will never be anything but mediocre if you don't commit to being all in."

"No shot you're up for the challenge."

"If it's not in the best interest of the kids, not doing it."
